The Beutong copper project is located on the island of Sumatra, approximately 180km south east of Banda Aceh, the capital of Aceh Province. The tenement covers an area of 100km2 and is held under an exploration license (IUP). The forest classification covering the majority of the area allows exploration and open pit mining. The Beutong porphyry copper-gold prospect lies along one of Indonesia’s most prospective magmatic arcs for epithermal and porphyry copper-gold deposits, including world class examples at Batu Hijau (Newmont), Tujuh Bukit (Intrepid Mines) and Martabe (G-Resources).
Tigers Realm Metals has current project ownership of 40% and an agreement to earn up to 80% through a Joint Venture with PT Emas Mineral Murni, a private Indonesian company.
